As Business Development Analyst, you will support sales and marketing initiatives and collaborate with all business stakeholders to develop the best approaches and solutions. Business Development Analyst will develop a comprehensive understanding of the organization’s capabilities, business, products, and services required to satisfy customer needs and requirements and be responsible for writing plans, analyses, and proposals.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research and analysis.
  • Evaluate product competitivity through product assessment and analysis.
  • Build a sales pipeline of leads through research and analysis pipeline tracking, opportunity assessment coordination.
  • Track leads and opportunities and conduct opportunity assessment and coordination
  • Develop sales proposals that respond to RFPs.
  • Ensure all sales proposals comply with customer requirements and align with the organization’s capabilities.
  • Ensure proper tracking and workflow management for each project to ensure successful on-time completion.
  • Produce documents required to support sales and marketing processes.
  • Work with all relevant stakeholders to determine the strategy and approach for each proposal.
  • Present/demo products and services.
  • Represent the organization at various meetings and industry events.
  • Support other business development, sales, and marketing processes.

Requirements and Skills

  • BSc or BA in business, marketing, or similar.
  • Exceptional communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships.
  • Superior oral and written communication skills (business and formal academic writing).
  • Experience in market and product research and analysis.
  • Experience in managing RFP processes/proposals.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
  • Understanding business development and sales strategies and processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to translate customer requirements to organizational capabilities and identify gaps.
  • Excellent MS Office and CRM software skills.
  • Vehicle, driver’s license, and ability to travel when required.
