MONO, ON – October 5, 2023 – Utilismart’s 19th Annual Golf Classic was an achievement for the industry. The company’s charity customer appreciation day saw dozens of golfers in attendance, representing our partners, colleagues, and customers from across the region.

For the second consecutive year, the charity selected by Utilismart staff was the Canadian Mental Health Association, Thames Valley Branch (CMHA TV), which promotes mental wellness and provides resources to the communities of London, Middlesex, Exeter, and Goderich. Their vision is an inclusive community with mental wellbeing for all.

“CMHA plays a pivotal role in allocating mental health awareness and support across our nation,” says Miroslav Karlicic, VP of Business Development and Innovation.

“They’ve tirelessly worked towards a mission that resonates with all of us: to promote mental wellbeing, prevent mental illnesses, and provide support and resources to those in need.”

Funds raised totaled an incredible $18,770 CAD, with $300 of that coming directly through QR code and cash donations from those in attendance.

“At CMHA we truly do believe in recovery and resiliency,” says Michelle Phillips, CMHA Educator. “Thank you so much to Utilismart and to all the wonderful sponsors and representatives here today for your incredible donation.”

“It’s wonderful that the Utilismart staff and friends all gave back in such an incredible way,” adds Wendy Sanderson, CFRE, Director of Fund Development and Communications for CMHATV. “What a success! That’s more that 3k over what was raised at your event last year, and we are so grateful for your continued support of mental health in our community.”
